Specially formulated using hybrid \u003cbr\u003ethickening systems and polarised fillers and additives alongside carefully \u003cbr\u003eselected cements and additives, to produce a smooth and controlled \u003cbr\u003eworkability with superior ease of mixing and application properties. \u003cbr\u003eTilemaster Grout 3000’s flexibility makes it suitable for use in a wide range of \u003cbr\u003eapplications, including for use on surfaces subject to limited movement \u003cbr\u003eand\/or vibration such as plywood overlay and underfloor heating systems. \u003cbr\u003eTilemaster Grout 3000 is suitable for grouting joints in wall and floor tiles \u003cbr\u003ebetween 1mm – 20mm wide. Tilemaster Grout 3000 has a very low water \u003cbr\u003epermeability making it ideal for areas subject to prolonged or permanent wet \u003cbr\u003econditions such as wet rooms and swimming pools. Tilemaster Grout 3000 \u003cbr\u003ecan be used internally and externally and it is unaffected by frost after setting.\u003cbr\u003eNB: Certain types of tile and tile trim may be prone to scratching and \u003cbr\u003esurface discolouration with the use of fine joint grouts. Therefore, we \u003cbr\u003estrongly advise testing the grout on a spare tile before grouting the tiled \u003cbr\u003earea. Where necessary, apply a protective treatment to the surface of the \u003cbr\u003etiles to ensure that the grout cannot penetrate the porous surface of the tile. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"heading2 hide-if-empty-placeholder apply-margins apply-font-style title__heading\"\u003e\u003cbr\u003ePREPARATION:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"heading2 hide-if-empty-placeholder apply-margins apply-font-style title__heading\"\u003e\u003cbr\u003eBefore grouting the tile joints, ensure that the tile adhesive has completely \u003cbr\u003eset and that the tiles are firmly bonded. Under normal conditions, standard \u003cbr\u003eset tile adhesives should be left for 24 hours, and rapid set tile adhesives \u003cbr\u003eshould be left for 3 hours before grouting commences. Ensure that the tile \u003cbr\u003ejoints are clean and free from dust and other contaminants. Excess tile \u003cbr\u003eadhesive should be removed from the joints while still fresh. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"heading2 hide-if-empty-placeholder apply-margins apply-font-style title__heading\"\u003e\u003cbr\u003eMIXING:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"heading2 hide-if-empty-placeholder apply-margins apply-font-style title__heading\"\u003e\u003cbr\u003eTilemaster Grout 3000 can be mixed by hand; however, it is recommended \u003cbr\u003eto use a low speed mechanical mixer to mix Tilemaster Grout 3000. Add \u003cbr\u003eTilemaster Grout 3000 to clean water and mix thoroughly until a smooth, \u003cbr\u003elump free consistency is achieved. After initial mixing allow the Tilemaster \u003cbr\u003eGrout 3000 to stand for 2 – 3 minutes before briefly re-mixing. More \u003cbr\u003epowder can be added at this stage if required. As an approximate guide \u003cbr\u003efor mixing Tilemaster Grout 3000, use 260ml of water per 1KG of powder, \u003cbr\u003eor alternatively 1 part water to 4 parts powder by weight. \u003cbr\u003eOnce mixed the Tilemaster Grout 3000 will remain workable for \u003cbr\u003eapproximately 30 – 45 minutes at 20˚C, however, this time is extended by \u003cbr\u003elower temperatures and shortened by higher temperatures. In order to \u003cbr\u003eprolong the working time of Tilemaster Grout 3000, the grout should be \u003cbr\u003estirred every 10 – 15 minutes. Do not add water after initial mixing as this \u003cbr\u003ewill cause weakening of the grout and also lead to shrinkage and \u003cbr\u003ediscolouration of the final grout colour.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"heading2 hide-if-empty-placeholder apply-margins apply-font-style title__heading\"\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"heading2 hide-if-empty-placeholder apply-margins apply-font-style title__heading\"\u003eAPPLICATION:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"heading2 hide-if-empty-placeholder apply-margins apply-font-style title__heading\"\u003eUsing a rubber squeegee or a rubber float, work the mixed Tilemaster  Grout 3000 thoroughly into the joints, ensuring that they are completely filled and void free. Excess grout should be removed as the work proceeds by moving the rubber squeegee\/float diagonally across the tiles to prevent  removal of the grout from the filled joints. Any grout residue left on the surface of the tiles can be removed by wiping off with a damp cloth or sponge once the grout has started to stiffen in the joints (after approximately 15 – 30 minutes when using ceramic tiles and approximately 30 – 60 minutes when using less absorbent tiles, e.g. porcelain tiles. Any dry film can be removed by polishing off with a clean, dry cloth once the grout has hardened within the joints.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"heading2 hide-if-empty-placeholder apply-margins apply-font-style title__heading\"\u003eN.B. If using Tilemaster Grout 3000 onto a substrate subject to lateral movement and\/or vibration such as T\u0026amp;G timber floorboards, Tilemaster Grout 3000 will require the addition of Tilemaster Flexmaster additive in order to increase the flexural properties of the grout.
